What a fantastic holiday! It took us three attempts for various reasons but it was worth the wait! The cottage was spotless and had everything anyone could need! So many beautiful beaches nearby! This was our third stay here and our first escape from home after lockdown. We have loved it!! Beautiful place, nice walks and a visit to the river. Our son loved seeing the cows each day and grew quite attached. The dogs both have enjoyed their time playing fetch in the large field. Seen kites, bats and a woodpecker amongst the small birds. Perfect relaxing break, enjoyed by all, helped by a lovely welcome pack from the host. We will be back again!!

Thank you! Its been fantastic! We had a wonderful time here! The welcome goodies were totally delicious. Home made bara brith and apple crumble, milk for our first cup of tea, Welsh cakes and more! What a lovely welcome. The area is lovely. The cottage is perfect, nice and warm for this winter weather. The dog field was used every day and perfect. We were house hunting and we found our Welsh house while we were here!

Hosts were lovely. Cottage was immaculately clean and a superb welcome tea awaited us. Whilst the cottage is small it has everything you could need for your holiday and we had two large dogs with us. The outside layout and access to the dog field was brilliant and with a very reactive, scared of everything dog, the set up was perfect for us.

We’ve stayed at Afallon Cottage twice now when visiting a friend locally. It's ideal for our dog, no need to worry about additional suitable walks unless we want to. The owners are very welcoming and provided some lovely treats for our arrival. Was too tired to head out to the shops after we got there so Bara Brith for breakfast turns out to be an excellent choice.

Straight away we were made to feel so welcome, and a super welcome pack on arrival. Lovely cottage and the dogs loved the view of the squirrels from the window. Went to some lovely places, beaches at Pendine, Llansteffan, St David’s. Visited a few local castles, followed the sun! managing to avoid the rain. Thank you for our lovely Welsh getaway. PS: Loving that field!

Lovely welcome pack, perfect start to a very enjoyable stay. Very nice area with plenty to see around. We would recommend the Red Lion at Llangadog for a meal nearby. The food was very nice and not expensive at all! The dogs had lovely runs in the field. Last but not least, Ysanne and Keith are really wonderful hosts, we will definitely be back!! A very well equipped cottage with nothing left to chance. The welcome package supplied was very tasty and very enjoyable. The owners, even though they lived next to the property left us well alone but were easily accessible should there be any problems. The grounds were very dog friendly and the gardens were very secure all around. A very nice and welcoming cottage.

Yet again another lovely stay. The afternoon tea on arrival was wonderful especially the bara brith (the best I’ve ever tasted). The gold mine is well worth a visit, my boys loved it. Ventured to St Fagins, Gower and Narbeth. A must!

Had such a relaxing week. The cottage is really lovely, equipped to a high standard and spotlessly clean. The welcome tray was indeed welcome and the bara brith was the best cake my husband had ever eaten! The exercise field for our dogs was a real bonus. Will definitely book for two weeks when we return. The owners are friendly and helpful should you need them.

Comfortable, cosy and convenient. We’ve always wanted to stay in Wales to catch up with friends and chose Afallon in Llandeilo as our base. Greeted warmly by Ysanne and Keith, they are friendly and helpful but make sure they are not intrusive. Delighted by the welcoming "goodies" to have with our cuppa, just what we needed after our long journey from Sydney, Australia. We loved the peace and quiet and found the location superb for visiting nearby attractions Dinefwr Castle, Newton House, Carreg Cemen Castle and Brecon Mountain Railway. With wi-fi included, we highly recommend this property.

Cottage well appointed, birds and squirrels to watch. So much to do and see! Loved Aberglasney Gardens, Carreg Cennen Castle (take a torch for the cave), Llansteffan Castle, beach, fish and chips, Mario's ice-cream, Dinefwr Park, gold mines, red kites etc etc. Delicious bara brith.

Lovely cosy cottage. We loved watching the wildlife from the lounge window, especially Vinnie! We had a fabulous week and weather was kind to us. Best beach is Tresaith near Cardigan. Beautiful scenery in South Wales. Thank you Keith and Ysanne, we really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic! There are very few places that will allow four dogs to stay, especially when three of them are very large dogs. Thank you for the warm welcome and lovely food treats. The use of the field has been invaluable especially for Arthur. He loved running around in it and we are expecting major sulks when we get home and he realises our gate doesn't allow access to a large field to play in! We have all had a wonderful time and hope to return soon.

A warm and friendly greeting on arrival, thank you so much for the welcome basket. Pembrey Beach is a must, miles of golden sands. Attended the annual Walrus Dip on Boxing Day. Visited Hay-on-Wye, if you love books it's a must and only 45 minutes away. Market town of Llandeilo has some interesting shops including a chocolate one! Thank you once again for a very enjoyable stay in your cottage.
