The National Botanical Gardens (which have doggy days on Mondays and Fridays where you can take your dog free of charge to delight in the beautiful gardens), and the beach and castle at Llansteffan are just a short drive. Enjoy the beaches at Pembrey County Park, Tenby, Saundersfoot and the Gower coast - Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The market towns of Brecon, Llandovery and Llandeilo are within easy driving. Salmon and trout fishing is available on the River Towy nearby. Shops 1 mile, pub 1½ miles.
Set against the spectacular backdrop of the Gower Peninsula, it is one of Wales's top attractions. Eight miles of golden sands (seven miles of which is dog friendly all year round), 550 acres of idyllic woodlands, the longest toboggan run in Wales, forest adventure playground, wildlife trails and much more.
